Four Ukrainian tennis players will compete at the WTA 250 tournament in Adelaide. This competition will be the last before the first Grand Slam of the new season - Australian Open-2022.

Three of our athletes got into the main draw: Elina Svitolina (No. 15 WTA), Marta Kostyuk (No. 50 WTA) and Angelina Kalinina (No. 52 WTA). Dayana Yastremskaya (No. 99 WTA) will fight the qualification.

The first racket of Ukraine Svitolina in the starting circle will meet with the American Madison Keys (No. 56 WTA). Kostyuk will play against American Shelby Rogers (No. 40 WTA) in the first round. Kalinina will start the tournament with a duel with Russian woman Veronika Kudermetova (No.

31 WTA). Yastremskaya in qualifying will face Joanna Zuger from Switzerland (No. 289 WTA).

Tournament in Australian Adelaide is scheduled for January 9-15.

Australian Open-2022 will be held in Melbourne from January 17th to 30th.

We add that Svitolina will perform at the second consecutive tournament in Adelaide. At the first competitions in 2022, Elina lost in the first match to the representative of Russia Anastasia Hasanova (No. 130 WTA).
