UEFA Nations League is about to undergo major changes. The football tournament, where only European teams currently compete, will be replenished with national teams from South America.

This was announced by UEFA Vice President Zbigniew Boniek in an interview with Meczyki.

According to him, ten South American teams will join the tournament from 2024.. Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile and Peru will join Division A, while Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay and Venezuela will go to League B.

It is noted that all matches will be played in Europe, given the difficulty of moving between continents.

Recall that the winner of the last draw of the League of Nations was the French team. Didier Deschamps' charges defeated Spain in the final - 2: 1.

As TSN Prosport previously reported, the draw for the UEFA Nations League-2022/2023 took place on December 16. The national team of Ukraine in Division B will play with Scotland, Ireland and Armenia.
