2022 FIFA World Cup reaching home stretch. October 11 Germany was the first of the European national teams to win a direct ticket to the world championship in Qatar.

A total of 32 national teams will compete in the final tournament of the 2022 World Cup. 13 tickets to the planetary championship are raffled off in the European selection.

Groups and Standings The 2022 World Cup European Qualifiers began on 24 March 2021 and will end on 29 March 2022.

Group winners will advance directly to the final stage of the 2022 World Cup. Runner-up teams and the top two 2020/21 UEFA Nations League teams that did not make it to the world championship will compete in a two-round playoff in their last three World Championship tickets.

World Cup will be hosted by Qatar November 21 - December 18, 2022.
