Former midfielder of Dynamo Kiev and the Ukrainian national team Oleksandr Aliyev commented on the White-Blues winning their first championship title in five years.

In an interview with Football channels, he said that he does not respect Dynamo coach Mircea Lucescu as a person, but considers him a good coach.

" I think that deservedly. Shakhtar were weak, but Dynamo were also strong.

As for Lucescu, Igor Mikhailovich probably did everything right by inviting him. My opinion remains the same. As a person I do not respect him, as a coach he is really good. I remember all these conversations during my time as a Dynamo player. I think Igor Mikhailovich heard all this and agrees with me. But he chose a coach.

Whatever person he is, he made a team and became a champion, "

Lucescu took over Dynamo last summer, signing a 2 + 1 contract.

In their debut season, under the guidance of a Romanian specialist, the White-Blues won all domestic trophies (Super Cup, Ukrainian Championship and Cup), and also reached the 1/8 finals of the Europa League.

As TSN Prosport previously reported, Aliyev was challenged to a fist fight: the duel of views has already taken place.
