The performance for Russian clubs in the current UEFA competition turned out to be a failure. Teams from Russia won only one victory in the main stage of the Champions League and Europa League.

In total, Russian clubs have played 26 matches in European competition. On account of them 1 victory, 9 draws and 16 losses. The only win is in the assets of Krasnodar, which beat French Rennes in the group stage of the Champions League (1: 0).

“Zenith”, “Lokomotiv” and CSKA finished their performances in European cups without victories, finishing in the last places in their groups of European cups.

After the matches of the 1/16 finals of the Europa League, Russia lost the last representative in the European club tournaments. Krasnodar lost twice to Dynamo Zagreb and was eliminated from the tournament.

The first matches of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League will be played on March 11.
