Today's friendly match of Shakhtar Donetsk at the training camp in Turkey against the Slovenian Maribor has been canceled.

The reason for this decision was the outbreak of coronavirus, which happened in the camp of the failed rival of the champion of Ukraine. The meeting was canceled for security reasons.

In view of the current circumstances, the Pitmen's coaching staff made changes to the team's schedule - today, January 25, the players will hold two training sessions.

In the first match in 2021, Shakhtar drew with Polish Lech. In the second game, the Pitmen missed the victory over the Bulgarian Ludogorets.

The Pitmen's first camp will last until January 26. The team of Luis Castro will also hold the second training camp in Turkey from January 29 to February 5.

For the winter break in the UPL, Shakhtar finished second, lagging behind the leading Dynamo Kiev by just one point.
