Two-time NBA All-Star Eddie Johnson dies at age 65 in Florida correctional facility.

A former basketball player was serving a life sentence, to which he was sentenced in 2006 for the rape of a minor girl.
Johnson played in the NBA for Atlanta, Cleveland and Seattle from 1977 to 1987. He was twice selected to compete in the NBA All-Star Game (1980, 1981).
In the 1986/87 season, “Seattle” expelled Johnson from the team for using cocaine, and the NBA banned the player for life.
He returned to Florida and was arrested over 100 times for drug dealing. In addition, Johnson has been jailed for robbery and fraud on multiple occasions..
