Austrian mixed martial arts fighter Mikail Ozen and his friend Recep Gultiken helped a wounded police officer and a pensioner during the terrorist attack in Vienna.

According to the publication Hurryiet, Ozen saw that a terrorist was shooting at a law enforcement officer. Together with a friend, they ran to the wounded man and helped him get to the ambulance.

In addition, they took a pensioner to a safe place, who was walking to the scene.. After that, the heroes went to testify at the police station, where they said that at first they thought that the shootout on the street was filming.

Recall, on the evening of November 2, a series of bloody attacks took place in Vienna. Terrorists staged simultaneous shooting in six different locations. Five people died: four local residents and a terrorist who was killed by a policeman. More than ten people were injured.

One of them was killed by the police during a special operation.

The other attackers fled, but four of them were subsequently detained. Others are still at large. Terrorists used long-barreled firearms.

Law enforcement officers identified the killed shooter. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the 20-year-old attacker had North Macedonian roots and was known to law enforcement agencies for his participation in a terrorist organization.. According to Minister Karl Nehammer, in addition to an Austrian passport, the man had North Macedonian citizenship.
