Shakhtar Donetsk will compete for reaching the 2019/20 Europa League semifinals against Basel, Switzerland.

In the second leg of the 1/8 finals of the LE Basel defeated the German Eintracht Frankfurt with a score of 1: 0, Fabian Fry scored in the 88th minute. The Swiss go further with a total score of 4: 0.

The Shakhtar vs Basel match will take place on Tuesday 11 August in Gelsenkirchen at 22:00 Kyiv time.

On August 5, Shakhtar defeated Wolfsburg in the 1/8 final match.

Wolverhampton beat Olympiacos 1-0 in side-by-side 1/8 finals thanks to Raul Jimenez's penalty kick in 69 minutes. With a total score of 21, the wolves reached the quarterfinals, where they will play with Sevilla, which previously passed Roma.

The quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals of the Europa League will take place in Germany.
