Lviv Karpaty, which were expelled from the Premier League, plan to file a lawsuit with FIFA against Shakhtar Donetsk.
According to Sport Arena, the reason is the lack of funds from the Pitmen for the transfer of the former green-and-white player Gustavo Blanco-Leschuk to another club.
The publication notes that in accordance with the terms of the forward's transfer from Karpaty to Shakhtar, the Lviv club received a certain percentage during the next transfer of the player. According to unofficial information, we are talking about about 200 thousand dollars.
Blanco-Leshchuk moved to Shakhtar from Karpaty in January 2017. He played 33 matches for the Pitmen in 1.5 years, scored 8 goals and made 3 assists.
In August 2018, the striker went on loan to Malaga, and in the summer of 2019 moved to Antalyaspor.
Karpaty kicked out of the UPL for missing two matches in a row. The Lions did not go to Mariupol for two matches against the local team due to lack of funds.
In all missed matches - due to coronavirus in the club and in two fights against Mariupol - Karpaty received a technical defeat 0: 3.
The club ranked last in the UPL standings. The team has not won 17 matches in a row - since September 20: 7 draws and 10 losses.
