Teams of the Czech Republic, Russia and the Faroe Islands became rivals of the national team of Ukraine in the qualifying tournament for the European Handball Championship 2022 among men.
They all made up group number 3.
The draw took place on Tuesday in the online format.
A total of 32 teams will participate in the qualifying tournament, divided into eight groups, four teams in each. Of these, two best teams from each of the groups, as well as four best from those who took third places, will get to the championship of the continent.
Men's European Handball Championship will be held from January 13 to January 31, 2022 in Hungary and Slovakia. The current champion is Spain.. Together with the tournament hosts, as well as the silver medalist of Euro 2020, Croatia, she is exempted from participation in the selection.
