Two members of the Sousa team also tested positive for coronavirus.. No one has symptoms of the disease. Before the start of the competition, the fighter said that one of his family members could be infected with a virus.

In turn, the UFC reported that the remaining 23 participants in the tournament passed negative tests for coronavirus. Souza and representatives of his team actively contacted the fighters and the organizers of the event.

Suspensions will not affect the holding of other matches of the tournament, reports ESPN.
