UEFA has decided to postpone the European Football Championship for 2021, according to the Norwegian Football Federation.

The information has already been brought to the attention of 55 federations participating in today's video conference with the organization’s headquarters. New dates - from June 11 to July 11, 2021.

This decision is due to the need in the summer of 2020 to finish the European championships, which are currently suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.



Euro 2020 was supposed to be held from June 12 to July 12 immediately in 12 countries - Azerbaijan, England, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Romania and Scotland.

According to the results of qualification, the Ukrainian team managed to break into the tournament and in the group will definitely play with the Netherlands and Austria, and the third team should be determined in the playoffs of the League of Nations. Reports about it " Ukraine"
