In England, a football club banned shaking hands due to coronavirus

Newcastle United has banned handshakes at a training base because of fear of coronavirus spreading in Europe.

According to The Guardian, the club decided to temporarily exclude shaking hands before workouts from everyday rituals..

Traditionally, football players shake hands with each other, as well as with each coach, before classes. Doctors of the club recommended abandoning this tradition to avoid the spread of the disease. In England recorded 17 cases of infection with coronavirus.

After 27 rounds, the Newcastle submarine takes 14th place in the standings.



Earlier in Spain, Valencia canceled all press conferences due to an outbreak of coronavirus.
