Ukrainian biathlete Yulia Zhuravok became the bronze medalist of the mass start race at the sixth stage of the IBU Cup in Italian Martell-val-Martello.

Zhuravok made one mistake at the firing lines and lost only to the experienced German Francis Hildebrand and the race winner - Ide Lien from Norway.

Two of our other compatriots also got into the top 20 - Olga Abramova and Nadezhda Belkina.

Note that at this stage of the IBU Cup, the coaching staff of the Ukrainian national team is looking at biathletes who could go as part of the main team to the World Cup. World Championship will be held from February 13 to 23 in Italian Antholz.
