The coaching staff led by Jura Sanitra announced five biathletes, and Artem Prima will be the first to start. He will run at number ten.

Note that for Semenov this will be the debut race in the framework of the 2019/20 World Cup. In December 2019, he performed at the IBU Cup.. In addition, the stage in Oberhof will be the debut for Tsymbal.

The captain of the Ukrainian team - Dmitry Pidruchny will not take part in the sprint. His absence is associated with an extra weekend due to the birth of a son.
