FIFA plans to launch legal proceedings against its former president Joseph Blatter and former UEFA head Michel Platini.

According to Sky Sports, the World Football Organization plans to recover from both 1.8 million euros that Blatter paid Platini from FIFA accounts.

Note that this amount was agreed on January 18, 2011, and on February 1 it was in the bank account of the French ex-football player.

As a result, precisely because of this money transaction, both football officials received a ban for eight years..

However, later the punishment for Blatter was reduced to six years, and Platini - to four. The disqualification of the Frenchman ended on October 9, 2019.

FIFA plans to additionally recover from Platini a fine of 60 thousand Swiss francs.

The lawsuit must be filed before December 31, 2019.

It was previously reported that Platini demands from UEFA over seven million euros.
