Former WBO World Heavyweight Champion Joseph Parker could be the next rival of Ukrainian Alexander Usik.

This will happen if the fight is for the vacant WBO title, New Zealand manager David Higgins said in an interview with Sky Sports.

" There is a big chance that the WBO title will be declared vacant after the Ruiz-Joshua fight, then Joseph Parker may become the next available fighter by rating. If everything goes right, then next year Joseph will fight for the title.

Parker is a more interesting opponent for Usyk than Chisora. A Ukrainian can not fight with Chisora \u200b\u200bfor the title, but this is a risky step, "

Earlier it was reported that Usyk could fight with Derek Chisora.

Possible date of the match - February 8.

On the night of October 13, Alexander Usik successfully made his heavyweight debut, defeating American Chazz Witherspoon. Now Sasha has 17 wins in 17 matches (13 knockouts).

Parker in the last fight on June 29 knocked out Australian Alex Leapai. His track record has 26 wins (20 KOs) and two losses - from Anthony Joshua and Dillian White. Joseph lost his championship belt in March 2018, when Anthony Joshua lost by unanimous decision.
