The Swiss national team in the 6th round of the League of Nations won an incredible strong-willed victory over Belgium - 5: 2.

The Belgians, who were previously considered the favorites of the meeting, actively started the bout and by the middle of the first half were already scoring with a goal difference of two goals - Torgan Azar noted with a double..

However, before the break, the Swiss found the strength not only to restore parity, but even to come forward, scoring three goals in 18 minutes. Ricardo Rodriguez (26 ’, penalty) and Haris Seferovich (31’, 44 ’) scored for Vladimir Petkovich’s team.

With the score 3-2 in favor of the Swiss, the Belgians still remained on the first line in the group, and therefore the hosts continued to press in the second half.

“Crusaders” got their way in the 62nd minute - Niko Elvedi sent the ball into the net after a pass from Jerdan Shakiri.

Score 4: 2 made the Red Devils open. But it was a truly Swiss evening! Wards Petkovic in the end the match finished off the efforts of the Belgians Seferovich, who designed the hat-trick - 5: 2.

An unrealistic comeback, which became a reality, allowed Switzerland to triumph with 9 points in its group, beating Belgium on additional indicators.

Thus, the “crusaders” will join Portugal and England in the finals of the League of Nations, where the main trophy will be played from June 5 to 9, 2019.

The last participant in the final round will be determined on November 19 in the battle of the Netherlands and Germany. If the former do not lose, they will go further.. The defeat of the Netherlands will lead the French national team to the final four.
