Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic helped the fan during a match at the Masters Series tournament in Paris.

The match against Portuguese Joao Souza was stopped because one of the spectators in the stands became ill. Djokovic approached the man and asked how he was feeling. And then the tennis player brought him his towel to the cheers of fans. Novak defeated his opponent with a score of 7:

5, 6: 1.

In the third round, Djokovic will play with Damir Jumhurii, the Bosnian, on November 1.

Meanwhile, the Spaniard Rafael Nadal withdrew from the tournament due to injury of the abdominal muscles. Consequently, Djokovic will return to the first line of the ATP rating - for the first time in 2 years.. The last time he was a leader before the “Masters” in Paris in 2016. In the second round Nadal had to play with compatriot Fernando Verdasco.
