Ukrainian national football team players Nikolai Matvienko and Artem Besedin decided to remove the likes under the message of rapper Timati, who congratulated the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, on his birthday.
Note that the players "plunged" into this story quite recently. However, the corresponding “like” badge from Besedin can still be seen under the post with the head of the Chechen Republic - Ramzan Kadyrov.
Interestingly, the likes of Putin were congratulated by a few more Ukrainian players, including Nikita Shevchenko and Vladislav Kalitvintsev.
Besedin later explained that he didn’t like Putin, but Timati. As for Matvienko, he has not yet commented on his action..
Recall that now Matvienko as part of the national team is preparing for a control sparring with Italy, which will begin on October 10 at 21:45 Kyiv time. As for Besedin, he was forced to leave the "blue-yellow" camp because of the injury.. He was replaced by Artem Kravets.
