From September 7 to 9, the international rating competitions on cycling on the second category "Grand Prix of Kiev" took place in the capital of Ukraine.

Kharkov bicycle racers won 4 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals.

More than 100 sportsmen from different countries of the world took part in the competitions - Spain, Georgia, Belgium, Belarus, Azerbaijan and South Africa. They played medals among adults and juniors.

The powerful composition of the home tournament was made by Ukrainian trackers. Among them, the leader of the national team of Kharkov Andrey Vinokurov climbed three times to the highest step of the pedestal. He confidently won the sprint, the Keirin and the team sprint together with the Kievite Alexander Moshchensky and Sergey Bely from Lviv.

Three times on the podium in competitions among the men rose another Kharkiv citizen - Vladislav Denisenko. On his account, two silver and one bronze medal.

Vladislav took the second place in the team sprint together with Dmitry Stovbetskiy from Nikolayev and Lvov Tadei-Ivan Chebanz, and won the bronze medal in the sprint.

Also in the elite category, the silver medalist in the discipline "Madison" was the Kharkov cyclist Maxim Luchin, who performed in tandem with Vladislav Shcherban from Ternopil.

Another three medals, including gold, Kharkov won in the junior category. Bogdan Danilchuk won the Keirin competition and became a bronze medalist in the sketch, and Yegor Korobov took second place in the Keirin.
