Former defender of London's "Chelsea" John Terry confirmed information that he refused to move to Moscow's "Spartak".

Last weekend, the media reported that the 37-year-old player underwent a physical examination in the Russian club and gave his consent to the transfer.

Later it became known that Terry refused to "Spartacus". The reason was called that his family did not like this idea because of the negative attitude of the British press towards Russia.

The footballer himself did not comment on the situation today.

He informed his decision in Instagram.

"After thinking, I decided to refuse" Spartacus ". I want to thank the club and wish him and his supporters a good season. This is an ambitious club and I was very impressed by their professionalism. However, after evaluating this step with my family, we decided that NOW is the wrong decision for us. Good luck, "Spartacus" "- wrote Terry.

Recall, last season, John spent in the "Aston Villa", where he is wedded and now.
