The national team of Ukraine started in the new tournament League of Nations away match against the Czech team. The game ended in victory for Ukrainians with a score of 2: 1.
The start of the match was postponed due to problems with light at the Uherske-Hradiste city stadium. The game began 15 minutes later than planned.
Ukrainians immediately took the ball under their control, but something went wrong.
Already in the 4th minute Patrick Schick burst into the left flank in our penalty area, beat Vyacheslav Krivtsov and scored in the near "nine" with a couple of meters. I did not get to play fast. Only the debutant Roman Yaremchuk had two points at once, but he inaccurately struck his head first near the right post, then left.
However, they scored our locker room. Marlos wound the rivals, gave further, Andrei Yarmolenko missed Yevgeny Konoplyanka, and Zhenya from under the opponent struck in the near corner (45 + 1 ').
In the second half, both teams had good chances for a goal, but at the last minute of compensated time Alexander Zinchenko brought us victory! Note that in the starting lineup of the "blue-yellow" did not hit any player, "Dynamo". Only in the 77th minute came Viktor Tsygankov, who replaced Evgeny Konoplyanku.
September 9, the Ukrainian team will hold a match of the second round of the League of Nations - in Lviv, our team will take the national team of Slovakia. The game will take place without spectators because of punishment in 2015.
