The police of the city of Kiev opened a criminal investigation into the fight of the fans, which occurred before the match of the Champions League "Dynamo" - "Ajax".

According to the press service of the National Police of Ukraine, as a result of the conflict, 34 people were taken to the territorial police department, 9 of them were detained in accordance with article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The police officers established the personal data of all the participants in the conflict, 9 detained in accordance with article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. A question is being resolved regarding the election of a preventive measure.

Information on the event was entered in the Single Register of Pre-trial Investigations. Criminal proceedings commenced on h. 2 items. 296 (Hooliganism). The sanction of the article provides for up to four years of imprisonment.

The fight before the match took place on Bolshaya Vasilkovskaya Street in one of the pubs.

Recall, "Dynamo" has played with "Ajax" in a zero draw and flew out of the Champions League. On the 31st of August the Kievites will know their rivals in the group stage of the Europa League.
