Ukrainian tennis player Angelina Kalinina made her way to the final of the US Open qualification, beating Czech athlete Teresa Martintseva.

Kalinina spent a little more than an hour on the court. As a result: 6: 3, 6: 1 in favor of the Ukrainian tennis player. For the right to play in the main grid Ukrainian will compete with Australian Jamie Fourlis.

But 16-year-old Ukrainian Martha Kostyuk finished the performance in the US Open qualification, losing to 171 worlds racket of Maria Bozkova - 1: 6, 5: 7. Recall, in the previous round Kostyuk heroically passed Russian woman Valentina Ivakhnenko.

We add that Katarina Zavatskaya has covered the racket in the first round.

Note, in the main US Open grid, five Ukrainian women will compete: Elina Svitolina, Lesya Tsurenko, Katerina Kozlova, Katerina Bondarenko and Dayana Yastremskaya.

US Open-2018 will be held from August 27 to September 9.
