The first ever combined European Summer Sports Championship was held in Glasgow and Berlin, and included the continental championship in track and field athletics, water sports, gymnastics, cycling, rowing, triathlon and golf.
Ukraine took the 8th team place. Our team won 26 medals, of which 8 gold, 13 silver and 5 bronze medals.
Most medals won in water sports - 15 awards.
