Star striker of the Italian "Juventus" Cristiano Ronaldo received some of his money back.
According to Mundo, the tax decided to return the forward 2 million euros. Note that the Portuguese received a fine of 19 million euros for non-payment of taxes.
The tax explained this decision by the fact that Ronaldo paid these two million as VAT.
It is interesting that of these 19 million Cristiano has already given 13.5.
Recall that Ronaldo became a player of the "old lady" in mid-July 2018. For the transition of the football player, the Turin club gave 105 million euros. The player himself will earn 30 million euros a year in the new team.
