UEFA has identified three candidates for the title of the best player of the Europa League of the 2017/18 season.

This list includes Dimitri Payet ("Marseille"), Diego Godin ("Atletico") and Antoine Grizmann ("Atletico").

Note that Grizmann designed a double in the final match of the second most prestigious club tournament in Europe. The opponent of Madrid was then "Olympic".

As for Godin, thanks to his reliable game in defense, Diego Simeone's team missed only four times for the whole tournament.
