As a result, the titled athlete will not compete at the World Swimming Championships in South Korea, which will be held from 12 to 28 July 2019. Earlier, in 2016, the swimmer received a 10-month disqualification for an emergency during the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Then Lokhte and 3 of his teammates declared that they had been robbed. Later it turned out that the Americans got drunk and smashed the gas station, and then lied about the robbery.
