Ukrainian tennis player Yuri Javakyan is disqualified for 21 months for anti-doping rule violation.
The athlete was punished for the use of methylhexanamine - a substance that is included in the number of stimulants.
The corresponding decision was taken by the International Tennis Federation (ITF).
The period of ineligibility begins on October 9, 2017 and ends on July 9, 2019. In addition, Javakyan is deprived of all prize and rating points earned during the period from October to December 2017.
Recall, in early January, information appeared that Javakyan had passed a positive doping test. Since that time, the tennis player was suspended from the competition.
