Ternopil "Niva" decided to withdraw from the Second League.

The club sent a letter to the president of the Professional Football League of Ukraine, Sergey Makarov, about the termination of participation in the tournament.

It says that the decision was made after receiving explanations from the FFU Arbitrators Committee regarding episodes of a scandalous match with "Agrobusiness".

"Since the committee has fully justified all the controversial points in favor of the actions of the arbitrator, the club fulfills its promise and will not take part in the championship.

We will not take part in the dirty and corrupt games that completely pierced the Ukrainian football. We consider it expedient to invest our own efforts and resources in the development of children's and youth football, and not get bogged down in the swamp of dishonest professional football, "the statement says.. Note that the referee of the match in extra time appointed a dubious penalty to the goal of "Niva", thanks to which "Agrobusiness" won - 2: 1.

After 23 rounds, "Niva" is on the 5th place in the standings "A", "Agrobusiness" - the leader.
