Both representatives of the Sverdlovsk region are returning home with awards that ended on the eve of the European Championship among juniors in Czech Prague. Gleb Poznahirko from the Upper Pyshma Sambo Club UMMC managed to win a gold medal in the category up to 100 kg, his team-mate, also debutant, Dmitry Kamayev became the third in the category up to 62 kg.

Entire tournament hero Poznahirko spent, as they say, on moral and strong-willed qualities - suddenly a back injury was aggravated, which significantly limited his technical arsenal. Apogee was the final match with Alexei Moiseyev from Ukraine. The higher Ukrainian constantly controlled the seizure and did not let our athlete perform effective actions.

However, Gleb managed to conduct a couple of attacks, for which the opponent was punished with a warning for passive fighting. However, soon Poznahirko was subjected to a similar punishment, and he was already in the role of losing. And at this moment the Upper Pyshminian completely uncharacteristic for his own method of "scissors" knocked the opponent off his feet and earned a decisive score.

It should be noted that for the first time on such responsible starts our team was headed by the young coach of the UMMC Sambo Club Mikhail Sukhanov, for whom these competitions also became a kind of premiere.
