Norwegian skier Marit Bjergen announced the end of her career.
The record holder in terms of the number of medals at the Winter Olympics reported this on the air of a local television channel.
"I realized that I do not have enough motivation to put on 100% in the upcoming season, so I think it's better to finish the career," said 38-year-old Bjergen.
