In Cardiff on the night of April 1, there was a boxing evening with the main heavyweight fight between British Anthony Joshua and New Zealander Joseph Parker.

To determine the strongest boxers had to spend all 12 rounds. Both were invincible before this fight.

By decision of the judges, Joshua won - 118: 110, 118: 110 and 119: 109.

Thus, Anthony retained his WBA, IBF and IBO titles and won the WBO belt. Joshua became the absolute champion of the world.

In another battle of the evening, Russian Alexander Povetkin knocked out Briton David Price. "Russian Knight" sent the opponent to the floor in the 5th round.

Now Povetkin became the main contender for the fight with Joshua.
