The European Football Union (UEFA) has counted Ukrainian U-17 youth team in a match with the Serbian team in the elite round of selection for Euro 2018.
The game ended in victory for Ukrainians with a score of 2: 1. However, Nikolay Yarosh and Roman Bodnya came out on the field, who received yellow cards in the previous two qualifying matches (against Ireland and Spain), so they had to miss the game with the Serbs.
According to the rules of the tournament in paragraph 45. 02 indicates that the player is disqualified for one match after the second yellow card received in the qualifying round.
Taking this decision into account, the Ukrainian team takes the third place in the group with 2 points, and the national team of Serbia with the 7th went to the Euro.
