UEFA decided to change the rules of football, which will deal with the matches of the playoffs of the Champions League and the League of Europe.

According to the official website of the organization, a number of changes regarding these rules will come into force starting from the season 2018/19. One of the most important rules that changed UEFA, is the fourth replacement. From now on, the head coaches of the teams have the right in the playoffs of the European Cups to make another substitution during the game. Previously, this rule was valid only in the UEFA Super Cup.

The second important rule is the application of the players - now the clubs can register three additional players to the general application after the group stage of the tournament. Previously, the new football player of the club had no right to play for the team in the Champions League and the LEF if he was played for the team that also takes part in the current season of European competition.

Other innovations of UEFA are as follows:.

- in the application for the Champions League final, the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup, you can make 23 performers, while 18 players could be registered earlier;.

- most matches of the group stage of the Champions League will begin at 22:00 Kyiv time. Some meetings will start at 19:55. Fights LE will play at 19:55 and 22:00 Kiev time. Starting with 1/16 finals, all meetings will begin at 20:00;.

- the game for the UEFA Super Cup will start at 22:00 Kyiv time.
