WBO world champion in the second featherweight champion Ukrainian Vasily Lomachenko is now preparing for his first lightweight fight, where his rival will be Venezuelan Jorge Linares.

So, coach Alexander Carnation Marco Contreras said that the WBC belt, which may deprive Mikey Garcia as a result of his transition to light welterweight, can move to Linares, who owns the WBC Diamond belt.

"If Mikey Garcia loses title, then Linares will become a regular champion. This may well be, "- said Contreras.

And Lomachenko himself noted that the magazine The Ring can provide his belt for his battle against Linares.
