Ukrainian skier Igor Reppyukh brought the third gold medal to the Ukrainian team at the Paralympic Games in Pyeongchang, where the third day of the competition ended.
Igor won a ski race for 20 kilometers among athletes with musculoskeletal injuries.
Another 2 awards were won by women.
In ski races for 15 kilometers Oksana Shishkova won a silver medal among athletes with visual impairment, and Lyudmila Lyashenko won a bronze medal among athletes with musculoskeletal injuries.
Note that for athletes this is not the first awards in Pyeongchang. Reptuh previously won a bronze medal at a distance of 7.5 km, Shishkova won silver in a biathlon sprint by 6 km, and Lyashenko in this discipline became a bronze medalist.
Thus, Ukraine has already won 9 awards - 3 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze medals. Now the team is now on the third line of the medal standings, behind the United States and France.
