The captain of the women's national team of Ukraine in biathlon Elena Pidgrushnaya believes that this season has become "lost" in her career.

"Of course, I'm unhappy. Because the shooting was awful, and the move - the result was not at all what I expected. And not only me. It was difficult to fight this disappointment. Then they tried to bet on the Olympic Games, but in the end, and there was not even able to start. If to sum up, this year can be considered lost in a career.

Regarding the continuation of the career, it will depend on whether I have a coach. But I want to continue to compete, "- said Pidgrushnaya.

Also Elena commented on the situation with youth in the national team.

"We now hear a lot:" Give way to the young ". So please! But where are the young people, and why will not they beat us? When Nastya or Ira began to show themselves, they have no problems - they are on the team.

But if a young athlete loses to me, even when I start after the illness, then how can I put it in my place? "- said Elena.
