The International Paralympic Committee published on its website a positive decision on the participation of Russian athletes in the Paralympic Games. The opening ceremony will be held on March 9. 30 athletes, instead of the planned 35 will be able to prove themselves in competitions. Our team will perform in five sports - skiing, snowboarding, curling on wheelchairs, skiing and biathlon. Just like at the 2018 Olympic Games, Russian athletes will perform in neutral status under the IPC flag. In case of victories of our sportsmen, at the ceremonies the hymn of the Paralympic Games will be played, and on the form there will be no own symbols.
