Ukrainian biathlete Julia Jima commented on her performance at the 2018 Winter Olympics, which took place in the South Korean city of Pyeongchang.

In her opinion, she was prevented from achieving good results.

"I understand that prevented to show a good result. This is a disease that I picked up after Ruhpolding. I knew it, but I did not want to believe that I would be recovering for so long. I understood that this is at least a month when you can not exercise normally, do the work that needs to be done before the Olympics. Of course, that after this it was possible to wait? Only a miracle. Miracles did not happen in our situation. That's all. I think I have a blunder purely with the disease.

I understood that we will have a chance to compete for medals only in the relay race. If everything was normal before the relay, then, probably, the result would be different. On me, thank God, this whole situation is not much affected, because I somehow did not get into it all, did not read and did not see. I only learned after the relay.

I definitely want to rehabilitate myself at the final stages of the World Cup. Because I do not even know who to blame for this situation. I believe when there is a disease, or a hand broke, or a leg, no one is to blame for it. It's like fate or some way, I do not know myself. Well, somehow it all went wrong, that's all, "- said Jim in an interview with XSport.
