American Brenna Hakabi became the first Paralympic athlete in history, who posed for the very frank photo shoot of the edition of Sport Illustrated.

After filming, a 22-year-old snowboarder told reporters why she took this step.

"This photo shoot for me is a great chance to inspire others. After all, it's so rare to see a woman with such features that poses for a magazine.

I want to remove the stigma from physical features that are called disability. It would be great if my example helped many women who feel shy of their body, feel strong and sexy, "Hakabi said.. In 2010, an American woman received a disappointing diagnosis - osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and amputated leg. Now she has three gold medals in the world championships, and in March she will go to Pyeongchang for the Paralympic Games.
