The first award from the noblest metal brought the national team of Ukraine, 22-year-old Timur Belyak from Krivoy Rog. Speaking in the category of up to 64 kg, the champion of Ukraine-2015 and the bronze medalist of the country-2017 in the final convincingly outboxed Czech Petra Novak, sending him in one of the rounds in a knockdown.

The second gold award was brought to the team by 27-year-old Igor Shevadzutsky from the Dnieper.

Two-time and current champion of Ukraine in the final duel with unanimous verdict of arbitrators defeated Kazakh Aiboldi Daurenuli and ascended to the highest step of the pedestal.

In the team medals the first place belongs to Hungary, the second - to Kazakhstan, the third - to Belarus and the fourth - to Ukraine.

As previously reported in URA-Inform, the National Ukrainian Hockey Team began active preparation for the tournament on the basis of the ice arena Terminal in the city of Brovary.
