Today Ukrainian sportsmen will take part in three kinds of competitions. As stated on the site of the Olympics, the first battle for awards will begin Olga Knysh.

In mountain skiing in the discipline of the giant slalom, women will have the first attempt, and after it the final. Total in this program will perform 81 participants.

At 12:10 Kiev time at the biathlon center will be the women's pursuit race. Here Ukraine will be represented by three sportswomen. The highest starting number will be Vita Semerenko - 14th. It starts in 55 seconds behind the German Dalmaer. Also will compete Valentina Semerenko and Anastasia Merkushina.

At 14:00 spectators there is already a men's persecution race, where our medals are led by Dmitry Podruchny, Artem Prima and Sergey Semenov.

In lone lap sport, the first and second arrivals of women singles will begin.

Our team will be represented by 23-year-old Elena Stetskiv and 24-year-old Elena Shkhumova.

Recall, as reported URA-Inform, two Ukrainians Andrei Mandzi and Anton Dukach held regular races at the Winter Olympics in Pcheonchkhan. In the third race, Dukach, with the leader behind in 0.769 seconds, was only 24th, and Mandzy showed his best result - 0.447 seconds behind and nineteenth place.

The final result of Dukach after three races was equal to the 23rd place, while the last one was the 40th.
