The 23-year-old figure skater from the Dnieper Anna Khnychenkova prepares for her start at the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang and tells about the local cuisine.

According to her, there are no problems with food - you can choose any national cuisine in the Olympic dining room, but there is not enough Ukrainian borsch.

"I first tried Korean soup. I ate one spoon and immediately put the plate aside. Such an acute dish.

Even athletes who said they love spicy food could not eat a whole batch.

I also tried seaweed from the Korean menu, but I did not like it. I really miss Ukrainian cuisine. Now would not give up the Ukrainian borsch ", - told Hnichyonkova in a commentary for Radio Liberty.

Recall, Hnichyonkova starts in Pyeongchang on February 21 in a short program, which will be held from 3:00 to 6:45 in the Kiev time.

At the Olympics-2018 Ukraine in general sent 33 athletes who will compete in 9 sports disciplines.
