The final fight of World Boxing Super Serie (WBSS) between Ukrainian Alexander Usik and Russian Murat Gassiyev wants to move to Russia.
At least, the Secretary-General of the Boxing Federation of the Russian Federation Umar Kremlev said that they will put maximum pressure on WBSS.
"We will exert maximum pressure on the organizers of WBSS, so that the final of the tournament was held in Russia. We have already begun to act and have indicated our intention to break the price paid for the show by Saudi Arabia.
We want this show to be held on the Day of Russian Boxing, which will be held on July 22, "- said Kremlyev, quoted by RT.
Combat Usik-Gassiev is scheduled for May 11 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia).
Recall that in the semi-final, Usik defeated Myris Briedis by a decision of the judges, and Gassiev knocked out Junier Dortikos.
