The duel between Ukrainian Sergey Derevyanchenko and American Dashon Johnson is canceled.
It is reported that the reason for this decision is the illness of the Ukrainian boxer. It should be noted that the meeting between Derevyanchenko and Johnson was to be held on January 20, 2018. Total boxers were going to hold 8 rounds.
Recall that Derevyanchenko acts in middleweight and has 11 victories in his asset (9 of which were knocked out). An interesting fact is that Sergei should have previously met against Demetrius Andrade, however, as the Ukrainian team reported, his opponent at the last moment refused the deal.
His last fight was held in August 2017 against Tureano Johnson. Then, our compatriot won with a knockout in the 12th round. Now Sergey is the official contender for the world title under the IBF.
