Young Ukrainians Yastremskaya and Kostyuk successfully started in the Australian Open qualification

Two young Ukrainians Dayana Yastremskaya and Martha Kostyuk vigil opening meetings of the qualification of the Australian Open / Dayana Yastremskaya defeated the representative of Japan Misak Doi. Ukrainka seized the initiative in the start of the match and brought it to a confident victory - 6: 3, 6: 1.

For the entrance to the final of qualification our sportswoman will compete with the winner of the pair of Alexander Dulgera - Bianca Andreescu.

Marta Kostyuk defeated Arina Rodionova in the first round.

The fight started not in the best way for the Ukrainian.

But after losing the first set, our athlete managed to pick up the next two games - 6: 4, 3: 6, 3: 6.

In the next round, the Ukrainian tennis player will play with the winner of the pair Jamie Lob - Daniel Segel.

Note that Kostyuk first played with adults in the Grand Slam tournament. 15-year-old athlete received a Wild Card from the organizers, because a year ago, the Ukrainian tennis player became the champion of the Australian Open among juniors.
