Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko commented on the situation in eastern Ukraine.

In his opinion, in 3-5 years Ukraine's economy will make a very big step, and relations with Russia will certainly become better.

"In the east of Ukraine since 2014 there is a war, according to official data there were killed more than 10 thousand people, in reality, probably even more. But Kiev is developing, becoming a true European capital with its own sense of dignity.

At a time when there is a war in the east, one can not say "well". But there are also positive sides. Difficult times unite people. The fact that the Ukrainians, starting from this summer can travel without visas to the European Union, is unequivocally good development of events. We are in the phase when we are just born as a country, as a nation, as a society. I am convinced that relations between our countries will soon improve. And after that many will ask themselves how it could have reached such a point that the fraternal peoples were at the stage of war. That one of them attacked, and the other was forced to defend himself.

In the fact that this time will come, I do not doubt.

When the guns in the east are silenced, the Ukrainian economy will outgrow the big growth. We will make a huge step forward in comparison with other neighbors. In this I have no doubt. And it will happen much faster, for three to five years, "- quotes the words of Vladimir Klitschko XSport.

Recall that Klitschko held his last fight in late April 2017. After this fight the Ukrainian announced the end of his career.
